I became a hairstylist knowing I was going to not only take care of hair, but the person in my chair.

Since I was five years old, I've had a connection with people and the beauty industry. I remember begging my mom to let me get highlights when I was only ten years-old - I wanted to get that feeling of connection and beauty that I longed for. Every time I sat in my hairstylist’s chair, I felt it, and I knew I was going to pursue a career in Cosmetology.

When I graduated high school, I dove headfirst into a Cosmetology apprenticeship. From the start I knew it was where I belonged. I would arrive early and stay late. Anything to get a taste of being the stylist I wanted to be. After two years of learning from some of Utah's top stylists, I went on to start my own business.

Shortly after my hair career began, I was hired to do the hair styling for multiple Disney Channel shows. But somehow, I always fell back into my first passion, extensions + custom coloring and connecting with my own clients. This is where Studio Soul Hair was born.

Studio Soul is not only my place, but it is yours. It is where dreams are created, and self-confidence is built. I feel lucky that I am able to use my education to make you feel your absolute best. I am determined to know all of the right techniques and best products to use on your hair. That is why I carry Mr. Smith hair care for your take home product routine and continue to enroll in courses as new techniques are developed. Not only can you be at peace knowing your hair is in safe hands, but also knowing you'll get the connection us humans need.
